Without addressing the issues above, the related projects are less likely effective or even deemed to a failure. Understanding the ‘network’, ‘community’ or ‘Guanxi between the people’ are important to any change management programme, including innovation initiatives, merge & acquisition, culture enhancement programme, succession plan, onboarding practices, succession planning and etc.

Speakers

Don Chan has worked as a people and organization development professional for over 16 years in numerous sizeable companies from property management, retailing, engineering, telecommunications, and catering industries.

Don is experienced in managing people development projects, such as establishing the talent pipelines & management framework, formulating functional & corporate competencies, and designing learning programme for management trainees and functional experts. He has extended the use of organisational network analysis for change management.

Don has managed over hundreds of assessments. He is competent in using psychometric tests, experienced in designing & executing simulation exercise and conducting structured interview for talent evaluation. He is qualified as the test users of ability and personality assessment accredited by the British Psychological Society.

After graduation with Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management from CityU; and a Master Degree in Knowledge Management from the PolyU, Don has lived up to his passion by qualifying as a certified facilitator in using the Lego Serious Play method and Action Learning. He is also certified in personality assessment, including Workplace BigFive, Identity Self Perception Questionnaire and Burke Learning Agility.
